Depends on what you mean.

19. Have you ever hit someone?

An older sister.

32. Have I ever regretted seeing a movie?

:icontowertournamentoct: We'll get to you later, Mir, Lulzy, Click, Mag, etc. I have to talk about a fanfic.

So...:iconautobotsplz: :icondecepticonsplz: Transformers Re-Energized. I have a lot of ideas, so I guess now would be a good time to explain some of them.

First off, the story and inspiration.

The idea was to make a reimagining of Transformers that would try to be a mid-ground between Transformers: Prime and Animated. Not very dark, but still a bit edgy and not too lighthearted. I was also thinking about adding references to original/scrapped concepts in the production of Transformers G1 and Bayformers, such as Ratchet being a girl, Starscream's original name Ulchtar (a seeker is named Ulchtar), the desert sub-plot of the first (and kinda shitty) Bayformers taking place in a jungle and Scorponok being Ravage, Arcee being one of the main 5 Autobots (Movie: Optimus, Bee, Ratchet, Jazz, Ironhide. TFRE: Optimus, Bee, Ratchet, Arcee, Wheeljack), etc.

As for some of the stories, I will occasionally add focus to the human characters, but try not to basically make them the focal characters and annoying little stereotypes. Sure, some characters from the films like Lennox, Epps, Simmons, Maggie, and John Keller appear, but for the most part they are just there or in different positions than Bayformers (Simmons being co-leader of Sector Seven alongside William Fowler, Maggie being a geek from Sam---er--"Spike's" school, Keller being the mayor of Central City). In fact, the only major human characters are often a "golden trio", such as Sam, Carly, and Chip (MTMTE), Rad, Carlos, and Alexis (Unicron Battles), Cody, Lori, and Bud (The Burden Hardest to Bear), and Jack, Miko, and Raf (On the Edge of Extinction).

Next, music. Yes, I know that's a stupid thing to talk about, but I seriously imagine some kind of musical accompaniment whenever I imagine the story. I did mention in the brainstorm thing a few months ago that I imagined the original theme song, the Vince DiCola themes from the animated movie, the Steve Jablonsky themes from the Michael Bay crap, and the Brian Tyler themes from Transformers: Prime.

To sum up:

Main theme: [link] (The Transformers theme song)
Autobots: [link] (Autobots from "Transformers...er...BAYformers") [link] ("Escape" from "The Transformers: The Movie")
Decepticons: [link] (Decepticons from "Transformers") [link] ("Attack on the Shuttle" from "The Transformers: The Movie") [link] ("Evil Decepticon Theme" from "The Transformers: The Movie") NOTE: A demo track
Optimus Prime: [link] ("Main Theme" from "Transformers: Prime) [link] ("Death of Optimus Prime" from "The Transformers: The Movie")
Unicron: [link] ("Unicron Medley" from "The Transformers: The Movie") [link] (Heed Our Warning from "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", a.k.a. worst movie ever)
Primus/The Matrix of Leadership: [link] (Optimus from "Transformers") Yes, I know this is technically OP's theme, but I feel it's more fitting for Primus and the Matrix.
Human characters: [link] (Witwicky from "Transformers")
Recurring theme: [link] (Arrival to Earth)

I said I imagined several styles for the music: specifically the work of John Williams, Thomas Newman, and James Newton Howard.

John Williams:

Autobots: [link] (The Never-Feast from "Hook")
Decepticons: [link] (Imperial March from "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back", a.k.a. the best movie ever made) Also fitting style for Unicron
Optimus Prime: [link] (Hedwig's Theme from "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone")
Unicron: [link] ("Peter Pettigrew" from "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban")
Primus: [link] ("A Window to the Past" from "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban")
Spike: [link] ("Dobby the House Elf" from "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets")
Action cue 1: [link] ("The Quidditch Match" from "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone")
Laserbeak: [link] ("Devil's Snare/Flying Keys" from "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone") The Flying Keys part is what I imagine for Laserbeak
Action cue 2: [link] ("The Battle of Yavin" from "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope")

Thomas Newman:

Action cue 3: [link] ("An Unpleasant Incident Involving a Train" from "A Series of Unfortunate Events")
This one death in the finale of the series: [link] ("Meteor Shower" from "White Oleander")
Bumblebee: [link] ("Main Title" from "Finding Dory/Finding Nemo 2")
Space Travel (before the Cons arrive): [link] ("Haiku" from "Finding Nemo")
Seaspray: [link] ("Wow" from "Finding Nemo")
Soundwave: [link] ("Gopher" from "WALL-E")
Carly: [link] ("Concerning Aunt Josephine" from "A Series of Unfortunate Events")
Starscream: [link] ("Chez Olaf" from "A Series of Unfortunate Events")
Recurring theme: [link] [link] [link] (These very fine ditties from "A Series of Unfortunate Events" that share the same central melody. "The Reptile Room", "Taken by Surpreeze", "The Wide Window")

James Newton Howard:

Arrival to Earth: [link] (Flying from "Peter Pan")
Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime: [link] (the Solar Surfer from "Treasure Planet". Yes, this is just the clip, but I imagine the track as fitting for Hot Rod)
As for the entirety of the Treasure Planet score, I imagine it as fitting for quite a lot of the moments in this story.

There will be more ideas, but I will explain and try to develop them (key word being "try") by Christmas.

That is...if Spider-Man Reincarnation...er....Lemony Snicket's Spider-Man steals all the spotlight because of this one thing I recently came up with regarding it.
Original work like Ghosts, Book of Monsters, Dark Rift, the still untitled cyberpunk noir, and OCT entries don't count, as SMR steals the spotlight from even them.

With all due respect,

This was originally going to be for those really cringey reviews of mine...but then you have my OCT shit, trying to write a fanfiction, and more.

First off, :icontowertournamentoct: My story isn't really going well. The conspiracy theory I based the story on has some plot holes when compared to reality, my characters are two-dimensional stereotypes, and I need help developing a story. My biggest fear for the OCT was that my story would become a mess with terrible characters, and it seems to be coming true. (insert Decepticon theme here. Not the awesome Vince DiCola one, the ominous Steve Jablonsky one)

Second, my dad has gone to Denver because of work training.

Third...my reviews. Seeing how I now CRINGE at my original Ravioli Reviews, I want to reboot it, but with two different projects: comedic Mr. Plinkett-style reviews starring my OC Harold Schmidt, and more serious reviews with me as myself.

I have started an intro for the first Harold review (note: actual intro begins 1:00, just one minute of Catwoman's breakdown from Batman Returns set to Dies Irae):

As for my still unfinished Unfortunate Events review...I want to end it with a transition where old critic Ravioli (a.k.a. Nostalgia Critic x9001 with schizophrenia and ADHD) goes through this mindscrew involving The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Bayformers Megatron, and other crap (and Within You by David Bowie) and then he meets new critic Ravioli (a.k.a. me) and Harold (a.k.a. autistic Lemony Snicket/Mr. Plinkett fusion) and then old Ravioli disappears.

That idea is still kind of weird and needs improvement. Especially since my A Series of Unfortunate Events review is a test for trying to talk about the good and bad of a movie that everyone has a mixed taste on...more mixed than The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Unfortunate Events is basically the flame war material of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 amplified by a million. An acquaintance of mine, :iconstormful: loves the movie, a 667 Dark Avenue user named Lemona Snicket hates it (quite a lot of 667ers hate it, others love it, others think it's okay), and I'm trying to show the good and the bad and then talk about how I liked ASOUE and TASM2, and then the insanity starts when Megatron (Bayverse) appears and then the world falls apart.

As for my thoughts on The Amazing Spider-Man 2, I realized that seeing how the fans AND haters tend to have the same arguments, I see no point in explaining my views than showing these reviews by some rather fancy chaps:
by Confused Matthew, the most hated critic ever.
by Patrick Ward, some guy who likes Assassins Creed apparently.
by WebHeadUnlimited, someone who liked TASM2 and other stuff.

Finally...my ideas regarding a certain Transformers fan fiction I want to start by Christmas.

I started a forum for the ideas, but I got nothing besides a few bad ones.

If you read the title, and guessed this would be about Tower, well, you're correct.

I've had a very odd history with OCTs. Here's how I sum it up:

:iconthehauntedlibraryoct: : Ruby Robinson:  Haunted Library OCT Ref. - Ruby Robinson by MrPaintRavioli Problem: too underpowered, too much of an angsty backstory, rushed audition and character (audition:  HLOCT: Ruby's Audition pg 1 by MrPaintRavioli  HLOCT: Ruby's Audition pg 2 by MrPaintRavioli  HLOCT: Ruby's Audition pg 3 by MrPaintRavioli)

:iconafterlifeoct: : Robyn Parker:  After Life OCT: Robyn Parker reference sheet by MrPaintRavioli Problem: too rushed, unfinished audition and I was too lazy to finish the audition.
(audition:  After Life Audition page 1 by MrPaintRavioli  After Life Audition page 2 (unfinished) by MrPaintRavioli unfinished) I remember that :iconmcwuffles: was interested in my character, but seeing as I was too lazy to finish this, I have decided to post this at a time when the work has pretty much been in vain, a phrase which here means "late to the point where :iconpailknight: and friends have no reason to put this in the spectator stuff due to how it has been abandoned"

And now, :icontowertournamentoct: : Connor Stark and Wendeline Whitman:  TTOCT Ref Wendeline Whitman by MrPaintRavioli  TTOCT Ref Connor Stark by MrPaintRavioli

(audition: to be released)

So yeah. As much as I want Tower to be my first OCT (and probably my only one because reasons), I have a part of me that keeps telling me that Tower OCT is a mess waiting to happen.

And when that mess happens:

Carme cume charlie zardo caume quantin totum father
Carme cume charlie zardo caume quantin totum father
Terde novo terde lusto terde tovo
Nome como nome canem terde salvo
Carme luso terde novo bene solvo terde canem
Nome salva cume zalda terde novo Christe lusto terde tovo
Bene malem canem luso tida tomo nomen como
Nome bene tomo salva canem luso tidem como
Canem somo tida carma novi salva lume charlie
Canem banem canem lusto tida tomo como novo
Canem banem canem lusto tida tomo como novo
Nome caldo tomo salve caldo luso tide como
Charlie sude tide canem umen saldo novo taldo
Canem banem canem lusto tida tomo como novo

I'm screwed.

I could continue talking about how much of a clusterf**k my Tower stuff might possibly end up turning out, but it could go on for hours.

With all due respect,
MrPaintRavioli
