Here is the official reference for Wendeline Whitman, the first of two characters I will be entering to
Name: Wendeline Jean Whitman (NOTE: prefers to be called "Wendy")
Weight: 156 lbs.
Personality: Geeky, bright, shy, soft-spoken, modest, reserved. Despite being a total wallflower, she is a pretty upbeat person (not necessarily an optimist) and can do a lot on her own, especially invent and research. However...she tends to be a bit eccentric and off-beat at times, especially when it comes to her science stuff. As for her modesty, she doesn't really like being a source for attention (unless it is something science related), but she also has this odd trait of not minding at all if anyone sees her naked. She also tends to be a bit TOO witty when she gets weird. No wonder people have called her "Weird Wendy".
Strengths: Has a brilliant intelligence, has a talent for swimming, really speedy
Weaknesses: Easily stunned, not a good fighter, vulnerable to intense heat (like Death Valley temperatures), comes off as shy, and being a hydrokinetic, she cannot stay away from any source of water for a long time
Powers: She has the ability to bend water into many shapes and sizes and can breathe underwater. Unfortunately, her underwater-breathing ability is limited to water, so no, she cannot breathe under milk, oil, blood, gasoline, Energon, or whatever.
Bio: Wendeline Whitman spent her whole life in a very harsh world following World War III. Growing up, she and her family lived in a lower middle-class neighborhood in Imperial Valley, where it often got so hot that she had to stay indoors to cool off. She took swimming lessons, read many science books, and studied her own talent: hydrokinesis. Wendy had the power to manipulate water into various shapes, and had the ability to breathe underwater. The more she studied her powers, the more curious she got. By the time she had moved out, she wanted to know how to use her ability to help people. One night, she was walking home from her job at a university...when a nearby file registry was being invaded by a skinny man with the power to manipulate electricity...
Likes: Science, swimming, owls, water, books, showers/baths, astronomy
Dislikes: Supernatural stuff, extreme heat, spending a really, REALLY long time away from water

UPDATE: I just realized that Wendeline is actually a real German name, and not a variation on "Gwendoline" or "Wendell". The name means "wanderer", and...kinda fits Wendy's character...somehow. However, her last name is Whitman, which is English, and seeing as (retcon from yours truly) she's German-American, her last name should be "Weissman", not "Whitman".
